Aleocuria

The desert dwellers--this group is the one respresenting shifter, housing all sorts of different beings this group has houses, dens, and massive trees surrounding the area to accompany for any being wanting to live there. Aleocuria is not allowing either animals or humanoids despite their fluctuating between both.

... Aleocuria is currently being ruled by Queen Rhea. It is the second oldest group standing and is continuing to thrive in the heat of the sandy areas. Many members of these groups are wary and unsure of the other two groups.

... Permissions: Neither animals or humanoids are allowed. (Pets are admin permission only.)

Aleocuria Ranks

ROYAL CLASS

  • Pharaoh - Queen >> The leaders of Aleocuria--it is most common to find a mated pair leading, but single or non-romantic pairs have been known to be in the seat of power as well. These two are in charge of everything--food, war, city relations, executions--they have a lot of responsibility to make decisions for the masses of their city and are to be respected.

  • Rabi - Sayida >> Second in command, these are the ones lower classed civilians go to when they're having problems or are offering information. This pair is in charge of being the go between for the civilians and the Pharaoh or Queen--sort of a two sided spokesperson.

  • Albarun - Baruna >> Those training to be either the leading pair, or second in command. These two (or three) hold no power in the sense of royal duties, but they do hold status and have the ability to deliver messages between civilians and their higher ups.

  • Vizier >> The advisor's and overseers of the royal class, they are ranked up with the leading or second in command as they are valued for their wisdom when it comes to certain decisions--be it with food, armies, war, etcetera. There can be up to four Vizier's, and if there are enough, one is assigned to each ranked above (minus the Albarun and Baruna).

  • Oracle >> The seer and highest ranked shaman of sorts. These beings hold a very close connection to the gods and act as messengers from the gods to the leaders or other civilians. All royal class treat the Oracle's with the highest respects out of awe and fear from their abilities. It is rare to have more than one, but there have been cases of up to two having these kinds of connections.

HIGH CLASS

  • Physicians >> The highest ranked medicinal persons--they know everything there is to know about medicine, healing and in most cases, poisons. They are called upon to teach lower ranked medicinal parties, and are in charge of making sure the medicine's supply is up to date, and restocked regularly.

  • Medjay >> The towns most experienced guardians--they are well informed when it comes to defense and problem solving, as well as the existence of hundreds and hundreds of other types of species. It takes quite a while to reach, and involves a lot of memorizing and note taking--these guards are in charge of training and keeping up with Aleocuria's defense at all times.

  • Liwa >> Those most experienced in fighting and strategy, they're the first to be called upon when war is brewing or when executions are asked for. Liwa's are the only ones who are allowed to go through with any form of slaughter when it comes to Aleocuria's people. They are in charge of training the lower ranked Muharib's and Mutaelim who are aspiring to invest themselves in the warrior branch.

  • Pahket >> Named after the huntress deity, these are the most skilled of Aleocuria's hunters--they're well versed in prey migration, preparation and the general take down of most surrounding animals and creatures. They are in charge of keeping the city fed and well kept, keeping the stock as full as possible, and teaching those aspiring or lower ranked Siad's about the hunt.

COMMONER CLASS

  • Haris >> Lower and Medium ranked guards--they are all still learning the area, or are going further in depth on anatomy and what to look out for, when to react and how to handle hostile situations. The third tier is given the ability to co-train with Medjay's, giving input and examples of visual instruction.

  • Muharib >> Warriors that are fresh out in most cases and are still learning the ways of fighting, where to hit, how to be effective and efficient in battle, and how to strategise. Third tier Muharib's are allowed to co-train with Liwa's as well as sit in on war council's or anything of that nature.

  • Siad >> Hunters and aspiring hunters, these ranked beings are lower in the knowledge chain and are always required to leave for hunts in at least a pair. Tier 1 Siad's cannot hunt by themselves, but are required to sit in on lessons and replicate or display their current knowledge. As with the others, third tiers are allowed to co-train, and do not require permission to leave on hunts by themselves. Third tier Siad's may lead their own hunting sessions, however a Pahket must be present somewhere.

  • Kashaf >> A rank that rests between Siad's and Muharib's. Kashaf's are learning or highly skilled scouts depending on their tier--because they have no rank to go into, those with this rank having the highest tier are considered to be teachers and are the first to be called upon when messages are needed for delivery, enemy territory needs scouted, or just to look for another settlement to form alliances (or rivalries) with.

  • Mutealim >> Those who are too young to hold a rank, but are to old to be considered youth. These beings are learning from every rank branch so that they may decided who to join when their time comes. Mutealim's are considered to be students, however once they've either reached the age of maturity, or the time limit of two years have approached they are to make their choice and be given their ranks.

  • Murdiea >> The adopted parents, or sitters of the city--these are the ones parents or orphans go to when they're in need of being cared for, or have children who need to be watched while the parents are away. Relationships with the growing beings and the Murdiea's are usually strong, making them an important connection in Aleocuria.
